I bought my first houseplant today! A tiny, itty bitty, Peperomia. A twig of a plant in a two-inch pot. The cashier laughed when he saw it. "It's just a tiny one", I said, "...but it's the potential that counts!" I bought a 4-inch pot and potting soil to motivate it to grow to grander heights. I hoped to find a Peperomia because they are wonderful in spreading good oxygen, and I wanted a plant that are not toxic on cats. This was the only Peperomia English Gardens had. We were fated to be together! It will be months before I'm ready for a new feline friend, but I will be one day ...someday. I want the condo, and my life, to be well prepared to welcome one with open arms and loving heart.
